But you do scary, difficult, and hard. Because everything you want out of life is on the other side of scary, difficult, and hard. And you don’t have to do it alone.
When I started making content I realized people could laugh at, mock, or flat out ignore what I was creating. I also thought that my mission wasn’t all that unique and that Tony, Oprah, and others were “doing it better.”
But something was calling me to do it. Even if it only touched a few people’s lives, I knew I had to do it. I didn’t want to look back on my life and regret not doing it because I was afraid.
Now, you may see me as the guy who has millions of subscribers, has written multiple books, speaks on stages around the world, etc.. but to the people who have taken my advice and drastically changed their lives, I’m their “blessing.”
I’m the guy they looked to when they felt alone and were about to give up.
And I can tell with a straight face that no amount of book sales or follower counts can match the feeling you get when someone tells you “you changed my life.”
Because I remember saying that to my mentors, and I honestly probably don’t say it enough to them, but I feel it.
So when I hear that I’ve been “that guy” for someone else, usually a complete stranger, it reminds me that I have a responsibility to keep going, no matter how scary the next step feels..
What we’re fighting with Movement Makers is the idea that NOBODYhas to settle for an unfulfilled life. No matter what you went through, what your circumstances are, what your story has been… where you are right now doesn’t have to be where you end up if you get the right people and models to follow.
That’s why we need every voice and every “type” of person to take responsibility and go after what they love. You could be that “right person” for someone.
And if you haven’t done that yet, it’s ok! But don’t push it off for “some other time”, because it’s not only you who’ll be waiting for change. It’s all the people you’ve yet to reach who need your message!
Much love ♥️,
